February has been a VERY busy month at Locals and the more customers I speak with the more opinions I collect about our wines. Lately I have started asking all of you to post your comments to my blog so that we can share some of this wine knowledge with each other so how about giving it a try? I welcome food and wine pairing suggestions, recipe ideas, wine rants and raves as well as pretty much anything else you all feel like sharing....so how about it from some of you that promised to write....you know who you are....and the world is waiting. Click on the comments link...and away you go..
Thank you David...for this first posting...
Carolyn,
I came into Locals with my inlaws this past
Wednesday - you might remember us as the rather energetic group who blazed
through a lot of Cranes Canyon and Peterson. We walked out with over two
cases of wine. I must say, we had a spectacular time - it was the
highlight of our winetasting adventures. For me, being from Boston and
sadly underexposed to winetasting, I was particularly impressed because I often
try to move through as many winery tasting rooms as I can in a visit.
Yet, the experience at Locals was sooooo much more relaxing, informative, and
personal - not to mention that your sense of quality control is
outstanding! I brought six bottles home with me, and already shared a
Crane's Canyon Mourvedre with my wife, which was ridiculously wonderful.
Thank you so much for such a positive experience - we really loved it and will
most definitely be coming back as long as you're around!
