May Day, May Day...

If you are in the mood for a good old fashioned small town get together then Sunday May 7th in Geyserville is THE day. Everyone in town will be at the Geyser Peak Picnic grounds at the north end of town to crown the May Day Queen. It's free...so come on down. It is billed as a day to just relax and enjoy!

Mourvedre Pairing Idea

One of our customers sent us this food pairing idea...and it sounds like something I want to try..
Mark emailed me to say that the Crane Canyon Mourvedre is a very nice match to a Marinated Grilled Steak with this asparagus recipe from Bobby Flay (click here for recipe)

Diane's Good Idea

This is a great way to save that wine you loved but could not quite finish at dinner last night...

Just buy a few splits and save the bottles..then when you have left over wine, pour it into the smaller bottle all the way to the very top, put in the cork, and you have created an air tight environment so that you can save your wine to enjoy the next night. Works every time! Never throw away good wine.
